- Description
- Written in 1786, "The Marriage of Figaro" is one of Mozart's best loved operas and the Overture is often performed on its own. It is, of course, a delightful piece and has been set in many different formats.
I have recently become acquainted with the flute choir and find it a very rich medium in which to work. The many forms of flute offer a range of color not found in other instrumental families. I have found this medium very rewarding and plan to continue with it in many more arrangements.
This piece would be ideal as a teaching tool for more advanced instruction or even as a concert or recital piece.
