Description
The Serenade in Bb Major is Mozart's penultimate work for winds. Originally written for 13 winds, the "Gran Partita" was originally intended to be performed as the single work of a concert. With a total length of 35 to 45 minutes, it has something for every fan of the Mozart experience. The third movement, the Adagio, was made famous in the movie Amadeus and is one of the most beautiful pieces ever written.
I have not only attempted to preserve not only the original sound of the 13 winds but also the experience of performing this grand work for the performers.
